The above doesn't mention the police calling off the pursuit when the car began driving on the wrong side of the carriageway. The police relied on the helicopter to keep them informed of the cars whereabouts.

A40 police chase on wrong side of dual-carriageway is more fake false news from spotty. A vehicle being chased by police drove down the wrong side of the dual-carriagway ,cops were quick to make the point ,but not quick enough for spotty.

Headline boys need more than that so they sex it up a bit. Remember, 20% of the UK deny the holocaust happened. I read it so it must be true.

So they were being chased for suspected agravated burglary (so weapon must have been brandished ?) were getting desperate (Renault Megan not the best get away vehicle ) were driving on inside of grass hard shoulder going into oncoming traffic and they struck fence on inside and bounced into a bus ? Pity cops did not strike earlier but damned if they do damned if they don’t ,what’s the answer to protect them and public from these sort of idiots ?

Update :
. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6695255/Heavily-pregnant-teenager-new-husband-named-crash-victims.html Seven-months-pregnant newlywed, 18, and her husband, 19, are named as burglary suspects who were killed after their car ploughed into a coach during high-speed police pursuit Newlyweds Patrick McDonagh, 19, and Shauna, 18, killed in west London crash Pair smashed head on into a coach while driving on the wrong side of the A40 Police pursed the car following reports of an aggravated burglary in Harrow Couple were expecting first child in April. Baby is not thought to have survived A heavily-pregnant teenager and her husband were killed after their car ploughed into a coach following a high-speed police pursuit. Newlyweds Patrick and Shauna McDonagh - who were expecting their first child together - were tailed by at least nine police cars and a helicopter before the horror crash in west London on Sunday night. The couple were suspects in an aggravated burglary that took place north of the capital in Pinner, Harrow, a short time earlier. Mr McDonagh, 19, and his wife, 18, who got married just 11 weeks ago, were pronounced dead at the scene after their car smashed head on into a coach while they were driving on the wrong side of the A40 dual carriageway. Their unborn baby girl, who was due in April, is not believed to have survived the crash. A third person in the car was taken to hospital and has since been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. Three victims - a man in his 30s, a woman in her late 50s and a man in his late 60s - were threatened with a 'large hunting knife' and screwdriver after being confronted by four men during a raid in north London. The younger victim was punched in the face before the thieves fled the scene with cash and jewellery. |
