On the recommendation of a chit chatter i booked tickets in October to see this amazing band.Travelled to the Octagon,Yeovil last night and what an evenings entertainment!! I was simply blown away on how good they are.Firstly ,thanks for the person who gave me the heads up and secondly,if like me you love classic rock, check out if they are coming to a town near you..you won't regret it.

Hmm, people in the audience are, err, just sitting there?

Not as much high kicking and splits jumping off the drum riser, but still recognisably Dave lee Roth.

When I first heard this, which I think was on a Newsnight program, I though, is nothing sacred, as Jump use to be my favourite song. However, the album is not a bad listen, the songs are a bit similar apart from what I think is the best song, a cover of The Cure's Lovecats which is totally unrecognisable from the original:

JC, I know what you mean about Dave, Ice Cream Man, Big Bad Bill etc and most of all this:

Way ahead of his time doing rock swing stuff before the likes of Williams, Stewart and Anka.

McCoy indeed, that is a mash up of two songs and this is the original mixup, by Louis Prima, in ye olde original style.

twizzle, it was probably me who suggested chit chatters to go and see the Classic Rock Show?
I've seen them  times now, and can't wait till they're on their next tour here.
Glad you enjoyed.

Yes John..i remember now ..it was you. Many thanks my friend.Think i've fallen in love with Jess Harwood.Fantastic stage presence last night from Jess .The Classic Rock show are more than just a run of the mill tribute band they are all musicians of the highest quality and are right on point with every song they perform. It was worth the 50 mile journey on unlit roads and pouring rain just to see them.I have already booked to see Jess (lead vocalist) in "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" in Torquay in April.

Twizzle... I saw Rumours of Fleetwood Mac 2 or 3 years ago. Jess came on and sang in the 2nd song... close your eyes and Stevie Nicks is on stage, she's that close to her voice.
Freebird, performed by CRS at Cardiff... the 2 guitarists, Howie G and James Cole left the stage and played the long solo (duet?) walking through the audience.
I'm back in Cardiff St Davids Hall in March to see Brit Floyd, the sister band of CRS... Howie G plays with them occasionally.. as a backing guitarist believe it or not!.
