Which one(s) have you had & what's the sound/reliability etc like?
I bought an ultimate ears one. Really good sound, but lasted a few weeks & then would not turn on. Sent it back & got a replacement. Lasted a few weeks, exactly the same as the first one. Sent that one back as well. The charging dock was 35 odd notes & looked like it was about 5 quids worth. A real rip off. Was glad to be able to send that back as well.
I have stuck some old pc speakers in the kitchen & can hook up my phone via the headphone socket to play music.

Had a read & the BOSE SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Wireless Speaker II sounds ok.
