astonishing; I've only just watched this & did not see that coming - did you Donny? Fastest i've seen them to the breakaway in years. Midfield a lot stronger; hitting the oppo around the corners, how much has Manu Tuilagi been missed & his partnership with Henry Slade was outstanding. Hard to pick a Man of the Match but if threatened with a thump off my Aileen, then it would have to be Mark Wilson. For years England have struggled with the back row no matter what the 'experts' have said, and yesterday the No6 was brutal. Keeping this lad & the Vunipola bro's fit will be key this autumn. For once England bullied Ireland; & if that's the way they keep progressing then we are in for one helluva World Cup.

Fabulous stuff, I thought.
Several great performances.
Nobody saying much about Ben Young’s at 9. I thought he was immaculate.

Still too many penalties conceded.
And that yellow I though was going to be armed.

Laugh bullied them, & haven't done that since the days of Martin Johnson. Played like the  All Blacks if that's not being too presumptuous? Got a bit fed up of getting bullied the last 3 years tbh, Donny & i had lost faith with Jones. But if he's been kidding us (and everyone else) all along, then he's played a blinder

if you play on the edge, RacingCert, then penalties are inevitable. It's a fine line indeed

do you know what Mr Moisok, i was going to put up a topic about the ladies following my earlier ones about the cricket. I think next to golf the ladies game is getting as good as it can be for the ladies. And now they're all pro, it will get even better

True enough, Baph.
(Do you know the autocorrect on baph becomes Bach?)
Still reckon that yellow could very easily have red and Farrell got away with his no arms tackles previously.

The thing is though, I believe, there is room for improvement and potential so it may not be completely fanciful to think we can beat the ABs.

I saw a match when it was of no interest generally
engerland v scottish persons  20 years ago maybe  maybe less

I was really impressed with their commitment and speed (for such fragile creatures!!!!)   and they swear too

the commentators now regularly appologize for the ladies' behavour ho ho

vera is no now so bye

massive massive improvement in the ladies game and some fine players, moisisok

RacingCert, call me anything but leopardLaugh Farrell is Rugby League & that will never leave him. He will be targetted in the World Cup no doubt. And as captain he has to be careful; having said that though the guy he's replaced as captain was a gouging nasty bastard; and never should have captained England

Baph, surely all number 10s get targeted?
There were so many good performances.
I was gutted for itoje getting injured. Hope he comes back soon.
Our line out is iffy too but if we play at that intensity we will give anyone a game given a fair wind.

Baph, I would hope not.
There’s no reason he should be.
Same rules will apply to all players, Shirley.

everyone hates the English buddy & Rugby is no different. Have you ever noticed how many England games are given to French refs?
