Via Uganda, amazing we let people in to mutilate their kids.
The mother was convicted. I think her partner (I don't know if he's the father) was cleared.
During the trial, the woman claimed her daughter "fell on metal and it's ripped her private parts" after she had climbed to get a biscuit.
Spells and curses intended to deter police and social workers from investigating were found at the Ugandan woman's home, the trial heard.
Wonderful people by the sound of it, we should get some more in.

In a different scenario the leftish media would be hysterical about such abuse of a female child. Funny old world.
Maybe the theologians will be on first to state which part of the manual the anti-fuzz spells are from.
Just done a little further research on this case . It gets worse the further one digs . Doncha jus luurve 'diversity' and the enrichment it brings to our otherwise mundane existence
Just think how boring it used to be when we were all more or less the same.

Don't worry, the feminists will be outraged...or maybe not (cos they're not real feminists..)
Police spokesman "We have many units in place who have been working for many years etc etc" . "..... send out a message that we take cases of FGM very seriously and will not hesitate to bring prosecutions blah blah blah" .
One prosecution in how many years ?
Millions of pounds spent and just one successful prosecution . Halle-bloody-lujah !

Makes you wonder how many girls are out there with bits cut off em. I suppose turning a blind eye to it until today will have ensured there are quite a lot Reynard.
I find it quite nauseating listening to the police and authorities self-congratulatory claptrap . These people shouldn't even be given airtime .
One successful prosecution out of how many cases ? Tens of Thousands ! They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves . They're next to Useless !

Social worker now using the phrase "Identifying those at risk" . Also referred to "Young British girls who are at risk" . Can she not narrow it down a little further ?
It's blatently obvious exactly which girls are at risk , but of course that would be deemed politically incorrect .

Now that's a question I won't be drawn on, but as far as this thread is concerned we have let a lot of the perps into this country on the basis of protection and preserving their 'human rights'. FFS
What is the cost to the taxpayer of dealing with all this 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation crime? Not to mention those who have just arrived in their pedalos.
There are those who want these backward kind of people to come to this country, and there are those who don't. That's where we are these days.

Basic mathematics . Total cost social services and police units investigating plus prosecution , defence and judicial costs divided by the number of individuals successfully prosecuted .
Therefore £millions divided by one = £millions !

Reynard - you forgot incarceration, release into the comminity, subsequent benefits, old age care etc etc..
How can you incarcerate individuals who you can't apprehend and convict ?

Injera - If you want to assess the cost of subsequent healthcare given to the tens of thousands of victims of this heinous crime then I really wouldn't like to put a figure on it

I thought you had done it! I was just following your lead, or so I thought, laters.
Legal aid only kicks in when a prosecution is undertaken . Bearing in mind this was only the 3rd case to go to court (two previous prosecutions resulted in acquittal) the costs 'post investigation' are minimal .
That's raises the question of how the CPS came to the conclusion they had sufficient evidence to prosecute on two previous occasions only for the defendants to be found not guilty ?

i wont log out then.must be double figures surely or have we given up with that project.
On about this on Vic Derbyshire this morning.
Someone said the way to stop it, is to make it the law to examine children to see if it's been done. Because they're doing it to children so young now that they don't have any recall of it. So they must be on about doing it to babies.
Of course the usual suspects were on shouting ''cultural targeting'' and there must be another way.
But it's perfectly straightforward, simply examine all kids from certain backgrounds and if they've been done it's off to jail for their parents, and if they plead that it was done abroad, too bad.
This is another case of the authorities allowing unlawful practices to be performed right under their noses.
What a sick society we have become, in the name of immigration.

locking them up is one solution but its too late for the poor kids

We need to set an example to prevent this behaviour.kids getting ruined.
Also, no mention of young boys forced to undergo circumcision, butchery also imo.

Exactly treetop, the way to stop it happening is to jail their parents and send out a message.
Which would slash the number of new cases as the word went out.

France take a tougher stance. I believe girls are examined regularly up until a certain age.
Dr C is right. Target certain communities and bollox to the PC garbage that has made matters worse.
'They' prefer FGM to continue than name the problem communities and deal with them.
Male circumcision is different gravy altogether. FGM is a clear practice of sexual inequality at the earliest opportunity. It is abhorrent.

I'll agree to differ. Ask the lads at 18 if they want some chopping off, not many takers is my guess.
I looked into FGM online this morning and found it a hard read... The motives, practice and long term physical and mental damage is sickening.
Oh for the day the Luvvies campaign on such an issue. At present they're too busy opposing wolf whistles and men who explain to them how to change the oil.

So why would they being culturally targeting. Who is doing it anyway. Old bert who drinks with me down the local 'spoons'???
If you suspect and have evidence it is cultural (which it is) then target them. Tough on crime and all that garbage.
