With effect from 6 April 2019 the minimum contributions you and your employer pay into your automatic enrolment pension scheme must increase by law.

From 6 April 2019, the minimum contribution rates are:

Employer minimum contribution            3%
Employee contribution                           5%
Total minimum contribution                    8%*

*based on Qualifying Earnings


What were the % for 2018 please?

yes tell your employer you want out ,but why would you weant to refuse free money,like burning 10 pound notes in the street

current rate   employer  2%

total minimum  5%
