what are they going to do about all these people flogging so called 'curries'  or 'chinese' in restaurants when they bear little or no resemblence to the originals and what one eats in said countries where they originate from.

Ps  anyone had a 'Buck Mei  - not sure of the spelling there  - it is a kind of soup made up of leftovers - used to get it for a singapore dollar a very long time ago.

Unfortunately a lot of "journalism" now is useless d1cks in an office sitting with a coffee surfing the internet for outrage from professional victims. I'm as sick of it as you.

Welcome to the land of 24 hour news, short attention spans, and clickbait.

Never mind the fact this d1ckhead seems to think M&S can't sell the food it wants, of course you can get vegatable biryanis, india is FULL of vegetarians (duh) and it's a dish mixed with rice. I've worked with Indian guys and most of them were vegetarian. I like Indian food and I've seen countless veg biryani's on menus.
Oxford Dictionary:
https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/biryani
"An Indian dish made with highly seasoned rice and meat, fish, or vegetables."

Not sure of buck mei, Mo but I was a regular at the hawker stalls out there in the 70s.  Amazing food at amazing prices!

Rice is notorious for attracting bacteria JC.  I guess similarly with pasta.  Terrible painful way to die Sad

non non  JC   you simply must get with the programme - cultural appropriation deniers like you will be put in the same catagory as holocaust deniers, racists and brexiteers.

it was a soup made up of left overs - you know,  the watery style if I can call it that.

'prawn banj'  long bap, roll baguette thingy  stuffed with egg onion spices and prawns.   A sort of prawn foo yung.

council estate boy meets eastern culture  ho ho

I'd have thought pasta (unless in a meat sauce) would be ok. I've certainly eaten old pasta before, I'll think twice now.

I think the problem with that guy from what I skimmed from article is not that the bacteria wasn't killed when he microwaved it (which is what I'd worry about normally) but that it had decay cause creation of chemicals that killed him, which no amount of cooking will help. Definitely something to ponder.
