Have noticed common courtesies being on a massive decline,an increase in self interest and no desire to interact with anyone face to face unless it's a self promoting power encompassing projection of ego or dominating/belittling attempt against someone else.
Add in the now accepted norm that looking at your phone and it's content is now the most important facet of life which supersedes any potential human interaction or attention priority the irreversible seeds sown about 15 years ago are now bearing fruit imo. the world is a worsening place and will never recover.

Agree. I enjoy testing out footpath etiquette. Keep left is the first rule. Loads of people in Australia fail that first rule. Rule two. If two people are walking side by side taking up the whole footpath then one must drop back to allow a pedestrian going the opposite way access to the footpath. It's amazing how often rule two is ignored. Especially by schoolgirls. I NEVER depart my God given right to walk on the footpath. I keep left but never get out of the way of rude uneducated self entitled a$$holes looking at phones and expecting me to get out of their way. Unless you are the size of Hulk Hogan I aint budging.
Are you wearing high visibility garments on these footpaths?
Yeah Smart phones! Biggest success the Elite has had to dumb most of us down,think about "Googlebox" where people are being spied upon, so therefore it must be cool to have that Alexa listening to every word,thats how most have fallen into this trap where we are all celebs cos we are being spied on

Noticed this flying on the awful Ryanair this week - full of milenials .. head down looking at phone , headphones on , oblivious to the world, a quick flash of the phone with boarding pass to stewardess and then hunker down with headphones on and the tablet out watching a catchup movie. Zero social skills.
I think it is jolly good. Saves talking to the narrow minded ignorant selfish ones. ho ho ho
