Well Just Checking it's to do with British values - which are tolerance, fair play and support for the underdog. And because the Union States of America are never the underdog, and the rest of the developed world likes to think itself superior for some reason, it's considered impolite to announce at a dinner party "I think facebook is cool and probably pays the amount of tax that the law requires" or "I've just had a great session on google maps looking at red lig . . ."

I hate facebook so I'm ok there ;) Gillette, I'm never buying one of their products again. American beer is meh. But Family Guy is starting, I'm guessin that counts.
I wonder what % of stuff is made in china these days? By concidence earlier I was looking at a couple "made in" labels and thinking that. |

![]() I am impressed by Americas Science, I would like us to land on Mars, and suspect only the Americans could afford this. All countries have their good and bad points, nobody is perfect, although the Americans sometimes think they are. One could never accuse them of false modesty. |
