Currently clouded over - and rain - here. 

Always the problem with these things onlooker many good intentions have been ruined for meteor showers and the likes,have decided to stay up and maybe go to a better viewpoint as fortunately it's clear in my area.

The earlier Forecast was Broken, scattered, cloud - But that was also   supposed to be the  scenario NOW ...  here's hoping.

its ten years since i won on betfair football gambling after 10pm at night so i can wait until 2029 for the next eclipse,but 10 years waiting for a winning night must be some record.people should get up and watch me punt who knows they might get a glimpse of me winning some night .and i bet every single night,i think i won on the night of AUGUST 30TH 2016(874 DAYS AGO) but i am not so sure its so long ago.

Just back in from watching haven't enjoyed an Eclipse this much since Giant's Causeway stuck his neck out to beat Kalainisi in 2000.
Moon currently a pink/grey mix from bottom/left upwards.

Didn't see this thread earlier.

Went to bed around 1:30am - Sky clouded over.

Did not set alarm - But woke up at 5:25am - so had a look out of the window.

Moon half covered in cloud, so put the kettle on and gave it 5 minutes - Cloud cleared to reveal Full Moon, that only just beginning to come out of Eclipse - so had a White part at the top (which looked like the Arctic on a globe) and the rest of the Moon was a brownish colour.
Got a good view through the binoculars - then went back to bed.

Job done... More by luck than management, this time, though.
