The whole ethos of the British judicial system is 'innocent until proven guilty' .
I suggest we allow that ethos to be observed throughout this process .These 55 individuals may , after all , be completely innocent

They cannot be too hasty with serious allegations . This case obviously required thorough investigations .
Many of the victims will now be in their 30's and what with PTSD and the brain attempting to block out traumatic memories it will be much easier to pull apart the witness statements . A child who was 13 in 2002 will now be a grown woman of 30 . The sight of a 30 year old woman in the witness box will be far less emotive to the jury than a young girl in her early teens , so that should lessen the impact and the apparent severity of the charges .

Re: the 55 arrests for "Historic Sex Crimes" (i.e crimes that are almost certainly continuing to this very day in West Yorkshire)

I note that the police have made a quite astonishing claim, one that bears no resemblance to the actual facts on the ground.

They have issued a statement which includes the laughable claim :

“Safeguarding and protecting children remains the top priority for West Yorkshire Police."

The 'top priority' since when exactly? Last Thursday? Given the Industrial Scale Rape of sexually-underaged white girls for several decades now, I'd say this claims possibly tops even that one made by the Lancashire Constabulary after a rape in broad daylight in Burnley on New Year's Day.

Lest we forget, that little masterpiece was :

There are no reasons why prisoners can't serve their time in prison hospitals. If a completely harmless and non-threatening sick man like Ronnie Biggs could do it (eventually), and the hook-handed convicted terrorist Abu Hamza can do it, it beggars belief that any extremely dangerous individual can't be detained.

The public need to be protected against persons who are convicted of violent conduct in a shopping centre, armed with "an offensive weapon".

I wonder if there is an expectancy among certain minorities of lenient treatment by the courts for carrying huge blades. It does seem to be the case.

The reason I'm asking is the term "honkeys" being used in the header, and I've many honkeys as friends ie friends from Hong Kong over the years. Are these 55 perpetrators truly of Hong Kong origin ie Hong Kong Chinese?
