aka nutcase. I thought it was about time she had her own topic. Forget your political allegiance; well for at least 5 minutes, and give me your thoughts on her. I personally think she's non compos mentis, disenchanted, irrational, callous, & obsessed with power. If you think i'm joking about any of these; i assure you i'm not. While other people/journos/sycophants heap praise on her 'tenacity' & 'pigheadedness' i'm the opposite, as i fear for her sanity; or whats left of it. Never in my life have i seen a PM with less credibility & worthiness to sit in No10. She is despotic; & i truly believe most people in her party are terrified of her. Her own party memebers today virtually condemned her 'baby' & her handling of Brexit. 76% of them would prefer a no-deal scenario compared to her 'baby. Yet today here she is off to meet Juncker to ask/beg for "more concessions" after being told time & time again she isn't getting any. She met Merkel the other day for who knows what; maybe she wants the recipe for sauerkraut.  Have i missed anything?

Anybody have an opinion? You should have, because what this nutcase is up to will affect all of us and our families for decades to come.

the problem with a no deal that everyone forgets is that once a no deal occurs the rules are simple=the EU  will only open up discussions after a no deal if the UK want to talk about becoming a fully fledged member again.these are the rules in the event of a NO DEAL.
As for Theresa,i think Southampton football club should sigh her at center half as she would be good with advice on delaying tactics and time wasting to hold out until the final whistle.Grin

It is the same process though, the same psychology is involved : 'The Peter Principle'

She carries on with her proposals because she doesn't have the imagination to come up with anything else. That she somehow thinks it will turn out well is wishful thinking which is not insanity imo, just a common failing of people who are out of their depth

She would be out of her depth in a puddle !  And the most frightening thing, she has got so much power which makes her extremely dangerous, but she is so weak and fragile, lacks confidence in her own judgement, and I swear half the time she doesn't know what to think ! She is not a warm person and is terrible mixing with the public which shows up her social awkwardness. Made a lot of mistakes as an MP and PM. She never even looks genuine. The Whitehall mandarin also left some very important documents on a train from Brussels last May, that ended up in a teachers hands. Funnily enough that other "Not for turning PM - Mrs Thatcher" had a simlilar confidante in Sir Alan Walters, who was her "Economic advisor" & turned all Thatchers cabinet against her. this is something that many don't seem to grasp; or care about. When you have a nutcase, who is quite capable of damaging us all for decades to come by continually taking a delusional stance; & is also given a free reign by her own party to do such. Then you have a crisis of enormous consequence. If she had a cabinet of conscience (which she hasn't) instead of a posse of apple-polishing turds; then there would be some hope. She is in, and has been in for sometime; a perilous position politically. This hasn't been taken advantage of by the opposition, or her own party. If Labour had a competent leader (which they haven't) then again there would be some hope

So there it is; no hope - unless change; and quickly Who can, or will grasp the:

EU rules out renegotiating Brexit deal

"Britain's divorce deal with Brussels is the only deal on the table and cannot be renegotiated, an EU Commission spokesperson has just said.

They added the bloc will continue to implement its "no deal" planning and that there are no more Brexit negotiation meetings are scheduled.

It is not dramatically different from the language EU leaders have used since the deal was signed in November and after the vote on the deal was pulled in December.

But May promised to get legal reassurances from Brussels over the Irish backstop - the insurance policy to ensure a hard border does not re-form on the island of Ireland".
