Is it as delicate as people say?  One reviewer said he only wears them if it hasn't been raining, is not currently raining and the weather forecast doesn't predict rain.

I have around a dozen pairs of suede trainers. Spray with scotch guard and wear them all weathers.

Maybe not the lighter coloured ones in all weathers but you get my drift.

He would have turned the Beckenham BOYS heads - in years gone by - according to perceived legend.  Happy

Laugh I highly doubt that mate as I'll be in Dulwich! Anyway, that aside I'm not completely certain the young fillies will be that into a middle aged man who gambles and drinks too much somehow Cry Happy New Year to you and yours.

I did have a fab pair of brown suede, pointy toes, Cuban heel ankle boots, worn with an elephant cord, Beatle style jacket,
and black trousers and polo neck jumper, way back in the '60s.

My God, how cool were we?

Got my eyes on a pair of chocolate brown Chelsea boots from Marks.  I tried them on in the shop and they're the best fitting footwear I've ever worn.  Perhaps I just got lucky with my foot-shape and the boot design but it was unbelievably comfortable.  The leather is nice but for me it looks too formal; the suede is smart without straying into the work/funeral zone.  I'll get the spray and a brush and give them plenty of tlc.

You are very wrong Sir....i scotch guard all mine and none of them are porous. The lighter coloured ones may need more cleaning but thats about it

I've given these a home.  They'll have their first trip out tomorrow morning at the dentist's.

scotch guard will help with a few splashes but won't keep out any serious water
