I thought this might make for an interesting and useful thread.
My tip is to engage the NIGHT SHIFT option (Settings. Display and Brightness). It gives the screen an orange glow during darker hours which is much easier on the eye. A fact well proven if one turns the feature off after using it for several nights.

Turn off wifi if you are out and about and relying on G3/G4.
Presumably the phone searches for wifi signal first, thus delaying internet use. |
