It does help when you've got one of these to share the day:
 But, as Reynard says, with eight Boxing Day cards and all day to study them, in some ways it's the best day of the year to be alone. Brace of partridge in the oven, and tomorrow I'll be able to eat the cold one with my bare hands in front of the box, without anyone nagging me about that being just disgusting, and in front of her mother too, and don't I watch enough horse racing every other day of the year? |
