Rather gives a lie to the claim that women are the equal of men in sport except equestrian events where the horse does most of the work, and even these are dominated by men. Navratilova dominated woman's tennis because she was big as a man, as did the Williams sisters She would lose her advantage if real men competed? Still it is a strange world |

trilby - I wondered if I was being a grinch - I also felt Kings was poor for all sorts of reasons - guest readers for starters and that terrible organ drowning out the wonderful voices in certain renditions. They didn't need the organ at all with those arrangements etc.

i have sympathy for those caught in the middle of gender but this issue is being abused. the idea of just deciding a gender is insane and unfair on woman who have enough dangers to face in the real world. woman need safe spaces and genuine protection from this madness. We are now in a lunatic world where lesbians are being called trans phobic cos they don't want to get involved with men claiming to be woman and then claiming to be lesbians which if we we take to to its natural conclusion makes them straight men doesn't it??? i can't believe i just wrote that sentence either but it is a thing |

It is nothing to do with gender. It is all about becoming important. SELF SELF SELF. The weaponisation of difference and the use of it politically is a horrifyingly frightening. Where VERY small numbers attempt to wag the dog by seizing the narrative and twisting it.
Many of us don't want to know and wish to be left alone, but like some sort of nasty annoying biting insect, they snip away causing great nuisance to the majority (and I am not talking about straights) - but the spin offs silence the rest (the straights) - because they don't KNOW anyway and will be continually flogged until they accept what a tiny minority want) - standby for more and more of this sh!te |

i'm mot disagreeing with you at all but we need to strip it back. woman are being put in real peril if we
allow just anyone to claim they are a woman. i read an article in the metro last month where they wrote "she exposed her penis" in what universe does that ever make sense??? Gender dysphoria is a thing and i would never belittle it but it is being abused and used by dangerous men with a misogynistic agenda. |
