As a Spurs fan it pains me to say getting beat by Man City in the Cup (?) about 10 years ago when we were 3-0 up and they were down to 10 men

I also misread the thread title and thought it was to do with sporting usets on New Years Day, but one which fits both categories would be Dennis Bailey's hat-trick for QPR vs Man Utd at Old Trafford on New Years Day in the early 90's

As a City fan I remember that game well , 3-0 to Spuds at ht City were 350/1 on here to win, Anelka had been sent off, Jon Macken got a hat trick . Someone on here I think called fruit bun did 35 k in trying to nick 100 quid !

Man City making that comeback was just that a comeback, but not so much an upset
don't think a 5000/1 winner can be topped in Leicester tbh |

nortons coin in cheltenham gold cup
manchester united winning champions league in 1999 from 1-0 down with hardly any time left, and ze germans, the masters of late winners, being well on top. burton albion sending sunderland to the third division, in front of netflicks, with darren bent notching the winner. |

newcastle coming back from 4-0 down at half time to get a point
against arsenal. sadly deceased chiek tiote smashing in a 30 yarder to equalise. that was to be tiotes only goal for newcastle as two further brilliant strikes were sadly ruled out by officials in somewhat controversial circumstances |

1990 cheltenham gold cup. 100-1 shot nortons coin winning and beats desert orchid who was sent off odds on if memory serves. trainer sirrell griffiths only had three horses in his yard. maybe not the most memorable sporting upset, but a nice little memory imo.
