Everyone knows about inside information. Very few have inside information. Where there is money to be had there is inside information. One would have to be stupid not to use inside information if one had access to it. With regard to horse racing, at least gambles can be seen happening on this exchange. I am only surprised that anyone is surprised.

The worst case I ever saw was on an American race on here. The horse drifted from 5 to about 30. The gates opened, the horse emerged but the jockey did not!

The markets and the pound moved spectacularly towards remain during the course of the day. So without seeing all the private polling I assume the majority of it was wrong, perhaps 1 or 2 firms got it right and half a dozen wrong.

For buying there has to be selling and vice versa. It's the difference that sends the market one way or the other.

The big professional money is usually on the right side of the market.

The pound had been in decline well before Brexit due to QE and had further to go, so the rise in the currency before the referendum was likely to be a fools rally.
If the professional money viewed it that way, they would certainly sell into the rise and come up trumps when the market resumed its downward trend after the smoke had settled in any event.

The drop in sterling was precipitate, never mind if it would have happened anyway over the course of a few months.

tbh although it is not spun this way, the polling firm might have the most questions to answer.

The Russians almost certainly influenced the referendum but not fixed it.

-------------

I don't believe all this Russian interference nonsense  - here or in America.

Millions of Voters - just like me - are NOT on FACEBOOK, TWITTER or anything else like that.

So - just HOW can the Russia have had ANY influence whatsoever on the way that I - and MILLIONS  of others - both think and vote?

It is all sour, make believe,  ballcocks from Hilary Clinton - the in denial Democrats - and now ruddy Remainers.
