Exodus:Gods & Kings film4 now

just started watching Bap, no good then ?

atrocious, invcta. Wss looking forward to it but it gets lost along the way; and Christian Bale is no Charlton Heston

but please, watch it and see what you think

will take your advice, switching to Arnie, I like Bale usually, brilliant in the remake 3.10 to Uma.

or Yuma.

yes and he should stick to cowboy films, invicta? I thought Russell Crowe was magnificent in that. And yet; watch the original. Much better imho

not many remakes better the original Bap, thought 3.10 was very good as was the remake of the Alamo, remake of True Grit bloody awful. Agree with you on Russell Crowe.

yes the True Grit remake wasn't great. Hard to replace John Wayne though. The young actor who played 'Mattie' was exceptional. Hailee Steinfeld is now Stunningly beautiful as well. In fact, she would make a great Cleopatra if they ever made that - again

Watched The 12th Man last night. Norwegian film with English subtitles. Based on a true WWII story about resistant fighter Jan Baalsrud and his attempt to escape the clutches of the fanatical SS leader Kurt Stage following a failed sabotage mission. Gripping film from start to finish.

I agree with Invicta and Baphornet, not many remakes that are as good as the original. I see that they have just made a remake of the classic Steve McQueen film Papillon, but I can`t even think about watching it.

Silence. There's a film for you both to watch.

I don't know, themightymac; i think the use of CG spoils a lot of things these days cinema wise. Maybe i'm weird but i'd rather watch watch Harryhausen special effects and the odd wire than CG. Jason & the Argonauts original or the CG ridden nonsense that they churn out today?

i will take in that film you mention as well, themightymac

You're supposed to watch it in 3D so the locusts give you a wee frit.

Don't forget to wear your incontinence pants if you take my advice.

mouse! I am not you & you are not me

How can you be sure?

" you can't help being you and I can't help being me"

i don't like cheese, mouse

that sounds like divorce papers, invicta

i fear i will be treading that very path soon myself, invicta

not nice Bap, been there twice and I'm a nice person, happily settled now, it all comes good in the end.

ah well done, invicta. 3rd time luck must be true then. I don't love her anymore, i cannot lie. She's my best friend so it's difficult. But, we will be ok (eventually)

I set great store on trust Bap, once that goes everything else falls apart, if you still have trust then there is always a chance. Hope it works out for you.

that's me goosed then Thanks, invicta. And thanks for tonight chat
