Yes I believe he did David Fishman, that was quite a long time ago and I can't remember why or who he had a run in with.I think I was actually one of the few that actually got on with him, we had a long history going back to 'The Racing Forum' about 20 years ago and we never really had a cross word in all that time.

I hesitate to ask, but how is your dad going on with the multitude of cats, Slippy? I seem to recall that things had improved last time we spoke on the subject, maybe 6 months ago or more.

Good evening kenny mann, I hope all is well with you mate. You have got that slightly wrong, my Dad died 13 years ago and was always a dog man, labradors, greyhounds and Collies were our family pets growing up! It's my ex partners Father that had/has the cat problem, he had 26 exactly a year ago and was basically a cat hoarder and as you know we/I literally explored every single avenue possible to get some sort of control over things, me in particular, who likes a challenge, pretty much gave up. Never in my entire life have I met such a stubborn man in all my days.

Anyway kenny, I'll tell you what has happened this year and you are not going to like this one bit but I will tell you you the truth of the situation. We suspect his neighbour has been poisoning the cats when they prowl around and do their business in his garden, as of Monday this week he has got 6 cats left. No proof but that is the logical conclusion that we have come to but impossible to verify and basically nobody is interested. I know that will upset you no end but I'm afraid that seems to be what has happened. The Dad is going to move in with her and take his 2 favourite cats with him in the new year (he is 84 and a bit unsteady on his pins these days) and sell his house and we'll find homes for the moggies that are left out somehow.

I looked in from time to time Slippy but like you I didn't get involved.
Checked it out about a month ago and it would appear Brian cox has been banned from it.
Looks like he was banned 6 or 7 months ago although some new poster is on praising him.
