Ivory endangers Elephants...it should not even be sold legally imo
Shark Fin soup is on the wane in China, and it does endanger Sharks I found this on internet Sharks are a crucial part of the ocean’s ecosystem. As the apex predator, sharks keep the marine food chain in balance. Without sharks other predatory fish and marine animals will thrive, which will deplete the amount of food fishes. Without these food fishes, algae and other plants will thrive causing coral reefs to disappear and making the water toxic for all live. Furthermore, sharks are integral to the carbon cycle and if they vanish, the carbon loading of the atmosphere will increase, causing untold damage from global warming. So it is vital that we protect these species in order to protect our oceans, our planet, and even, ourselves. It seems we need to protect Sharks to protect ourselves , although we may not feel like this if we are swimming in the ocean and meet one face to face ![]() |

Most people who are killed by Sharks tend to ignore shark warnings....so we may be better off without these people, not very clever
|
|
By:
If you don't speak shark, the warnings may go unnoticed.

Have you not heard? Shark not only eat humans, they eat dust too.

In answer to his question, he done right in my opinion and should never have been jailed. |

Ivory and shark fin soup are status symbols in the eyes of the Chinese community - abalone is another. This is akin to having wild salmon and goose instead of mackerel and turkey for dinner and x'mas respectively; a high status could mean respectability in the eyes of the Chinese which is important for business and standing in their community.
Just another lot of their fantasy belief with no scientific data to back them up. |

what we need is open season hunting on poachers who kill elephants and warships to blow up shark killing trawlers see how they feel they wont like it up em mr Mainwaring.
