That's a mistake for a start taking on someone disabled for a tenant.

As an ex landlord I'm sure my tenant would tell you she was well looked after and that any issues were dealt with within the week. No I don't condone the way he acts, when your that rich why not treat people fairly. However I would say it must be nice to be that rich that you don't give a fxxk
no doubt Ashford council will be pooing themselves when 300 families present themselves at the council offices. Probably be some backtracking somewhere |

I will be putting out 300 cans of tennants after Christmas.
|
|
By:
He wouldn't have dealt with it anyway. Someone else would have been responsible for that.

By:
Looks like no one did, the fella in the wheelchair said he was tired of being pushed about
|

By:
he wont throw 300 tennants out ,what about all the lost rent and fookin about getting new tennants in !

He'll sell up

Water off a duck's back, he'll pay up and carry on like nothing's happened.
They aren't going to pack it in over a fine that's basically peanuts to someone like them. |

Is he the guy who owned and used to run absolute outsiders in The Derby?
|
|
By:
geoff m ,yes he is .As i put on a previous thread the man craves publicity so he generates controversy to get it.
|
|
By:
He'll be a hero to all those people he gave a home to, who without him would be sleeping on the streets for Christmas.

Don't think my old tenant thought I was **** Brand new cooker, hob, decorated and new carpet throughout before she moved in. Didn't take a deposit from her as she was skint and her last landlord really was a ****
|

If you just have one place to let dan, maybe from 2 people wit properties living together, letting one out, or someone has left a property after death, then it's understandable. Being a decent landlord is just part of being a decent person.
The bloke in this story is a buy-to-let scuzzbag, in my experience, not particularly interested in people, just profit and keeping house prices and rents high. |
|
By:
Yes I am in the second property category moving in with my partner. Tbf I have always said it was madness that my tenant was given housing benefit to put into my pocket. Would of been better putting her in a council house and the rent either creating an income for the council or paying off a new house that could be used for future generations. This Wilson fella is a complete coont. What a price of a boiler to him so why not just have it fixed
|
|
By:
Capping councils building houses and selling what they had was a very very bad thing.
If councils had been able to build as they used to then there would be more housing, lower rents, fewer parasite buy-to-let landlords. |

How can anyone talk down the 'right to buy' scheme.
Any problems are down to under building and net migration numbers. |
|
By:
Most people think their landlord is a ****, not a hero.
The lefties charter - always someone else's fault. Windbags like STUDYPORN who think the world owes them a living always bite the hand that feeds them. If he's a renter that would explain why he comes on here always looking for someone to insult. He's just a bitter old out and out loser. |
|
By:
Correct akabula, all this renting came about after Labour started their campaign of importing as many people as possible.
This created a housing shortage and sent property prices sky high. Now people have to rent where before they would buy. We didn't have a housing shortage before Labour came to power. Renters tend to vote Labour. Which was the Labour plan all along, and why we're were we are now with housing. |
|
By:
It was Labour's policies that created this situation where people depend on landlords for housing.
|
|

I work for a living. Unlike you crippen.
Again you're completely wrong. Your synopsis is utterly wrong, your reasoning wrong and as usual you've made most of what you wrote up. Nice to know you, as a landlord, think people who rent are "losers". What a person you must be to rent from. You are unquestionably the most reprehensible, unpleasant troll on this forum. Oh, and you'll never respond to the earlier picking up of you typically stupid quote that landlords "GIVE" people somewhere to live. They don't. They create an extra level of profit which doesn't need to be earned for a business which shouldn't be a business. If you don't think the right to buy and capping of spending on new builds by councils was responsible for a shortage in rental property, then you're simply lying. (again). It was Thatcher policies that caused the shortage, and that is well recognised. |

Yet another comedy of errors from STUDYFORM.
It was Thatcher policies that caused the shortage, and that is well recognised. No shortage of housing before 1997, until Labour opened the immigration floodgates. If you don't think the right to buy and capping of spending on new builds by councils was responsible for a shortage in rental property Immigration caused the shortage of rental properties by increasing demand, and depressing wages so fewer people could afford to buy. Maggie selling council houses didn't reduce the number of houses in the country. There were plenty of houses to go around before Labour were elected in 1997. STUDYFORM - why are you always wrong? |
|
By:
property owning democracy the Spiv dreamworld , that is fooked once and forever
|
|
By:
Labour had 13 years to change the legislation and build some more council houses.
But they decided to encourage private landlords instead. This made a lot of people very rich, and even more people very poor. |

What did Clint Eastwood say in the Good the Bad and the Ugly?
''There are two kinds of people in this world my friend. Those who own property and those who pay rent. Now you pay your rent.'' |

By:
you're not worthy of any more of my time.
Yet he's still here humping my leg. |

By:
It was Thatcher policies that caused the shortage, and that is well recognised.
You saying something is well recognised isn't proof of what you are claiming SF. Well recognised by who? And do you accept that net migration is the biggest problem? |

For some strange reason, my post from the other day describing Wilson as a count without an o was deleted.
Probably reported by one of the cretins who are now defending him. |
