if it's confirmed of course. It's hard to believe anything at the moment if yesterdays vote was anything to go by
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 11 Dec 18 21:26
I wont believe it until she's escorted into the back of a paddy wagon with a strait jacket on
By:

When: 11 Dec 18 21:26
It won't lead to anything as she will just survive the vote. To lose it requires the remainers and leavers against her to both against, but the remainers won't want anything to do with a movement initiated by the ERG, and there's no real common ground between them to compromise on an agreement going forward.

She wont be going with this vote agree

When: 11 Dec 18 21:28
it may be more than you think, n88uk. Anyway it's an embarrassment she can do without. And it might make Jezza move his ass
By:

It's actually a bad idea from them to force the vote now unless they know they are definitely going to win which I doubt they can know. If they lose they are basically marginalised for 12 months. The threat of them will be nullified.
By:

When: 11 Dec 18 21:37
it might be an educated gamble what with other irons ready to go against her, so to speak. Maybe they think it's a free pop? Maybe the DUP will pull the plug?
By:
n88uk
When: 11 Dec 18 21:40
It's not a free pop in sense of if you lose you can't do it again for 12 months. So then the only way they could do it again would be to side with a Corbyn vote of no confidence leading to a GE which I imagine they would never do.
By:
Baphornet
When: 11 Dec 18 22:00
i mean it is a free pop in the sense that someone else will maybe do the deed for them. Any way, i'm glad they have because someone had to show some initiative after yesterday; and stranger things have happened than a party turning against a sitting PM

May will have to join a convent - she must be a virgin so no problem there. Worst humiliation since Chamberlain.

Good call by corbyn not to call a vote of no confidence in the government yesterday then.

Could have been quite comical if his chance of a GE rested on tories voting against any conceivable leader of their own party
