When putting up wallpaper, throw away your wallpaper smoothing tool.
Instead "sweep" the bubbles out of the wallpaper with exagerated motions using the butt of your left and right hands, imagining that you are unknowingly practicing "blocks" in a remake of "The Karate Kid", where Mr Miyagi was an overworked Painter and Decorator trying to get some child labour on the cheap.
