My mate from school Mick Jackson, was in the Love Affair who were massive in the late 60s, maybe early 70s.
He's now got a band together and they've re-released the song. Here he is talking about it. My mate who also knows him says he's wearing a bloody wig, not that there's anything wrong with that imo.
I've said no he isn't, and we've had a small wager. You decide who wins the bet, First to 5 votes wins the bet.
****, this is going to cost me. Me and mate, 2 chicks, posh restaurant. Looks like I'm paying.

You've said that before tel, and i disagreed but think you're right now.

Interesting little fact given the band is called the 69.
Apparently summer of 69 has a dirty conurtation (sp?), I only found that out recently.
Playing it until his finger bled, sums up my teenage years

Brilliant ! Start a thread encouraging innocent folk to start taking the proverbial out of the guys barnet and then , when the knives have been well and truly put in let it be known he's capable of killing with a single blow to the throat . I wish to advertise the fact that I was the first , and only , contributor to vote 'real' , therefore I'm not on Mr van Damme's hit list .

Mick lives in Bingley West Yorkshire with his wife Patricia and has a daughter Suzannah, a son Ben and three grandchildren. He built up his own business in to a multimillion pound concern which he sold to a large American company in 2011. He now has a similar automotive soft wear company and has been passionately involved in motor sport as a racing driver (see the website www.bmracing.org.uk). In martial arts he has a 1st Dan black belt in karate and has now along with Dave and Alistair Harnby reignited his passion for rock music.
