interesting prog on now on chanel 19 - (yesterday)wanted the world to have free electricity ,but the big companys were not so keen on letting it go for nish ! devised a way of alternating current for the masses everyone could have had free leccy !

Good channel, saw a programe yesterday on huge abandoned engineering projects, including an island in Japan which was the most crowded place on earth, another one in Croatia where they spent billions on a secret bunker under a bunker to withstand a Hiroshima style attack and designed to deply fighter jets and whatnot, then the Yugoslav war came and they fought for it amongst themselves, was never used.

of course in the 70s and 80s with the advent of the "stick " it was free leccy for some anyway !
