A colleague of mine (honestly!!) was snapped by a camera on M25 doing 102mph about 10 days ago.

She has returned her form pleading guilty etc but is really worried, as I guess she should be. No previous, no points.

So question is...what will she get penalty wise?

I can only guess the following based on a quick google but everywhere you look, it's different.

150% fine of a weeks wages
6 points
up to 56 day ban

Any convicted speeders out there??!!

No excuse. I don't think she has been asked to go to court. I'll check tomo. Sure she would have mentioned it.

Thanks Nellie, useful. She's bricking the ban bit and hoping she gets points instead (as well as a fine)

Think you have to be doing twice the speed limit to automatically loose your licence. As nellie said was there a reason ? Make one up around lady problems, unexpected time of the month no sanitary products etc etc you get the idea Crazy If it goes to court hope she gets a man judge, you know how sheepish us men get with such issues Laugh

I'm sure it's an automatic ban if you exceed the speed limit by 30mph +
