The censorship is getting a bit tiresome imo, arrogant would be another way of describing it.

For those who didn't see the Grenfell thread before it was deleted,  I put up a link to another newly proven despicable case of massive Fraud, where the perpetrator claimed over £100k off the back of the tragedy.

A far more newsworthy story than the 'bad taste video nasty' that emerged this week, and the latest in a long line of entirely predictable Grenfell frauds.

This was in someones back garden and apart from being in really bad taste I can't see any criminality.
Heard they were being charged with public order offences which seems strange for a private event.

The public order offence was surely the filming and posting on social media the incident

If it was a genuine claim... how the hell are you able to claim £100k in benefits in 12 months?

They did a bit of a Merkel tbf, made it clear there would be no barrier to help whether you were here legally or not, and a possible chunk at the end of it. What could possibly go wrong. Crazy

I wasn't remotely furious. I went to bed.
Having spent hours pointing out the stupidity all over the thread, the last thing I would want was its removal.

Quite apart from the obvious fact that I wouldn't ask for such a thing.
If I have something to say to you casemoney, I'll say it.

There are some VERY sad, not very nice people on here. I am neither of those things

Just imagine you were round a friends house for drinks and fireworks and some genius comes out with a cardboard box ect ect... what do you do? If i'm honest i'd groan and maybe giggle a bit. Now if i'm arrested for that, I'd be furious and pretty much unrepentant..

Until it gets posted online for public enjoyment.

I'm not saying what they did was a crime, but it WAS wrong.

I’m with Emitdeb on this. I’ve heard and seen far worst jokes played whilst at BBQs and house parties after a gallon. In fact I’d probably have not even groaned had I been at this bonfire party.

The thread on this which some snot-gobbling sulker had removed, would have said roughly the same as the last few posts, had it not been conflated with;
"paedo gangs", "Khan", "immigrants", "Labour", "lefties" and anything else which seems compulsory nowadays.

Although I've seen a few filtering in to this thread again.

The law is the law, not a comfort blanket for snowflakes.

Clearly not intended to be taken seriously, in poor taste, certainly. But so what? Do we ban all comedy, pranks or jokes that are in poor taste. Just another step toward wrongthink.

If we ban people for poor taste and offensive behaviour, then Frankie Boyle would have been banned years ago,
Oh, but wait a minute,he only slags off the tories, UKIP, disabled people and the Jews so thats ok, thats called comedy by the lefties and the beeb, and they  love him..

Had they kept it, as a very controversial event (albeit wrong to involve children) it wouldn't have become such an emotive issue!

The mistake was to have posted it for others to see....
