Anyone had something from them recently?

Got a letter from them yesterday, inviting me to take part in a survey!

It came with another enclosure, and they say they will write again in a few days, with a free gift thanking me for agreeing to take part!!

How absolutely effing ridiculous and a waste of money (presumably public money)!

I mean why write twice, and assume that people will want to take part, and want a poxy 20p pen (presumably)?

So apart from a poxy 20p pen, the question is "what's in it for me"?

The promised letter (package) arrived today....

Not a pen in sight!... DOH!

Instead a fabric bag, which I guess is supposed to be for shopping, but hardly commodious, and with ridiculously long handles!

Do they really think that people agree to be involved, for a poxy free gift?

"Thank you for agreeing to take part"...well I never did!

In sales, this is known as the Assumptive close: also known as the presumptive close....

Now they say, "it should take only 10 to 15 minutes to complete"!

This reminds me of the last occasion where a guy kept calling, and flashing his ID, and trying to assert that it was an official government instruction,
for people to take part!

Clearly the poor tw@t was sick of pounding the streets, and being told to p!$$ off, as his livelihood was dependent on an interview!

With commendable persistence, he caught me on a sunny day, when I was in a good mood but, I can tell you it to far longer than 10 to 15 minutes!

Whatever, I'm going to do it, as it will amuse me for an hour or so, and I'm frightened that they will come and repossess my free gift if I don't!

Did it in 9 minutes and fell at the last fence, being ease of use!

No boxes for the answer, but it sent without it!
