Playing to the gallery, is the army, marines or national gaurd really going to shoot anyone ?

Nobody ever attacks Mexico for being a place that people don't want to stay in. The US, and every other country, is well within their rights to do all they can to prevent people crossing into their country at will.

I heard that some of the migrants have home made catapults and potato guns. Quite serious if true.

100 cuddly IsIs terrorist hiding in the caravasion were pulled out and deported in Guatemala a few weeks ago. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6297869/Guatemalan-president-claims-caught-100-ISIS-operatives.html |

stickyvicky... the caravan left Honduras on 13 October. That article is based on a speech Morales made at a conference being held on 11th/12th.
If Guatemala have caught 100 ISIS terrorists (and deported them) then great, but the two things are not related. Is this where I should be crying "FAKE NEWS!" if it suited my politics? |
|
By:
^ How are they not related ?,
The caravasion originated in Honduras which is east of Guatemala on the map. They had to pass through Guatemala to get to Mexico and then on to the US. Its called Geography, not fake news. |
|
By:
Sorry, are you actually being serious?
Do you believe the Mail article is telling us that the 100 terrorists Morales spoke about were all taken from the Honduras caravan? |
|
By:
^ if one of the websites he visits writes it vicky will copy it. he doesn't do original thinking, just copy and pasting.
|
|
By:
So why are 100 middle eastern people with high terrorist links in Guatemala ?
On their holidays.? Lads there is an impending foot invasion of the US coming this way, but lets not bother joining it, we're on holidays remember. This method of invasion for us Isis terrorists worked perfectly when we invaded Europe, but we will ignore this caravasion, we're on holidays. Lol. |

By:
sticky... If the 100 terrorists were hiding in the caravan when they were pulled out and deported, then they were actually on holiday in Honduras, as the caravan hadn't left Honduras by the time the 100 had been rounded up.
|
|
By:
Ok, waiting for the caravasion.
You still think these two things are not connected.? |
|
By:
It can't be that the good countries in the world have to constantly take fed up people from the crap countries.
It needs that the crap countries become less crap. Starting from within. The "no borders" type hand wringers need to get that in their thick heads. Especially when you look at the population growth rates for many of the worlds sh1tholes.. |
|
By:
They weren't always against illegal immigrants from sh1thole countries. The cotton plantations were full of them. Typical dog whistles.

I didn’t like the way they were flying Honduras flags either , that’s a bad sign right there , they should put a stop to that

By:
Have the common decency to fly the American flag if you want them to be kind enough to let you in

Stupid and totally irrelevant comment. |

sticky... I will take "Ok, waiting..." as your agreement that they could not have been "hiding in the caravasion", and could not, therefore, have been "pulled out [of it]". Could this not be labelled "fake news" if it had been described in this way in the media?
So why write that? To answer your question, no, I do not think they are connected in the way you implied: - We now agree that they were not physically concealed in the throng of people, which would be the clearest indication of a plan to infiltrate the border. - I've not seen Morales (or anyone else) indicate that any of these 100 were planning to infiltrate the caravan. Wouldn't they say so if they did? When was this caravan first arranged/announced? Was the time in between that date, and the 13th October, sufficient time for 100 ISIS terrorists to get into Guatemala (and be allowed in), only to be hauled in by Guatemala plod, with a number being deported? It seems most likely Morales is talking about these 100 having been captured since he became president. Personally I think the greatest connection takes us back to the point I wanted to make about fake news, and what people hear (or simply tell themselves) versus what has actually happened, or what is actually happening. We don't (or can't) be impartial towards everything I suppose, it just saddens me that the blinkers have to come on, depending on what "side" of something you're on. |
|
By:
normally followed with 'we are all immigrants really' by the wringers.

"You are against mass immigration now, so you were ok with slavery?".
It's like Cathy Newman style debating. "So you are saying we are lobsters?" |

Why do any of you give a shoite?
The pigs and vultures of the press are earning fortunes telling of things that will cause contention and argument and sell advertising. Get a f*cking life. |

I saw the story, didn't forensically dissect it like you apper to have done. Little did I know as you seem to, that now the right are putting out fake news in the biased left leaning media to inhance a story. Fake story seems to have reached the top of the Trump family with Don jr tweeting it. Note to self, I must keep up And if you think the two are not related ( 100 Isis terrorist and a maurading passing caravasion heading to the storm the US border in close proximity ), I beg to differ. |

Finally! SF the comments self appointed "voice of reason" is here to, as usual, tell us what we should and shouldn't be commenting on.
Thank god. We couldn't decide ourself. We'll all shut up now, his petulant leftie wisdom has shown us there error of our ways. |
|
By:
Woops, typo, with a bit of luck it'll be commented on...
|
|
By:
Why is everyone who disagrees with or questions the invariably dull, bigoted, corrupted messages on here a "leftie"?
I couldn't care less what is "commented on" I do, however, care when it's non-stop fecking ranting and politcally unreasoning nonsense day after sodding day.... the same old fecking whining, moaning and unchanging shoite that you lot repeat yourself with, unceasingly. It always the threads started by the same people, saying the same things.... then... anyone dissenting in any way is a "leftie". Yet the "lefties" start far fewer political threads. If you went to the local pub and went over and over the same old crap, every day, like you do on here. You'd be on your own. Maybe that's what's happened. |

We are currently watching an organised illegal invasion of the USA to be timed with one of the biggest polictally changing elections in the US in decades. I wouldn't call that the same old crap. Lol. |

There is no way they are going to be allowed in so it's pointless.
Is the leader of them "El Gran Viejo Duque de York"? |

Funny how Trump has gone from boasting about his German and Scottish parents to complaining about immigrants. He's been so consistent on everything else.

Studyform is as fair minded as most on here. I think like a lot of people if he can't think of owt good to say, he'd rather say nowt. I don't fully agree with his criticism of 'left'. Anyone against certain things is now called 'far right', that is a lot of people including me. Fair enough for them to assume that people using that label are politically opposite, ie left, and in a polarised country having just two labels is convenient for most.

Ramruma, There is a slight difference between 'legal' & 'illegal' immigrants

sticky... sorry, I'm not quite with you when you say this:
the right are putting out fake news in the biased left leaning media to inhance a story. Fake story seems to have reached the top of the Trump family with Don jr tweeting it. What story/news/content? My hunch is it's going to say something along the lines of 2+2, and it's caused a number of readers/users to shout "that makes five!" Absolutely no harm in two people disagreeing/begging to differ... I just find it baffling and quite alarming how filters/blinkers can be used so readily by people. |
|
By:
Again why are 100 middle eastern arab men with Isis connections in Guatemala.?
Holidays, no one believes that surely ? That would be 2 + 2 making 5 So one must look at other reasons they might be there. The story you mentioned was reported falsely, dates were wrong, but if the story were factually correct it would be considered a pro Trump story, correct ? The story was on MS media which is proven to be 85% negative Trump news. So a positive story put out about Trump above turns out to be fake news as you call it then the story must have come from the right. You with me ? |
