I think Hitler was driven by a terrible hate...and that hate unfortunately had a terrible empathy with the feelings of the Germans

that they had been unfairly punished after WW1.


He was also the only person other the communists who could sort Germany out in the 1930's...democracy failed them.


If only someone at the Art college Hitler attended when he was young has said Hitler could paint...so he must stick to it,

The damage one person and the cult they create is fascinating.
Hitler was a very damaged individual, partly by his experience of WW1 but so were lots of people.
You just need to look at the last days of the war to realise he operated on what was best for him not for Germany. Or at least he thought what was best for him was best for Germany.
He brought untold misery to his own people in those last few weeks/days. He was one of those guys who saw himself as the central character and everyone else as bit players.

The only person he could blame was himself. Ludendorff was in total command of the German war effort during the last two years of WW1.

His decisions led to Germany's suing for and accepting  an armistice, on very poor terms for the Germans.


But the German soldiers always believed in Ludendorff including Hitler.

He could think Ludendorff, but was no genius and frequently panicked, Hindenburg who worked alongside him, had to hold him up

on occasions.


It was Hindenburg brought Hitler into power as he saw him as the only solution for Germany.

He thought he could control Hitler but he died, nobody could then stop Hitler.

Stalin's body count makes Hitler look like Mary Poppins, but you don't hear too much about Joe.

Mao's murders are more than Stalin's, Hitler's and the rest combined, but he never gets a mention.

The reason is simple,

Interestingly we were allied to Stalin in WW2 and grateful for it, it was his army that defeated the Wehrmacht on the Russian steppes.


Another amazing fact,the day after WW2 ended we had a new enemy Stalin, and since Hitler was dead, we would have happily re armed the
