I'd love to. Offers of £1m for maiden voyage!

Making money from death so no thanks

Why can't they just let the ship and its victims RIP?

I think the movie in 97 has given people a false picture, imagine being on that ship for real? the panic and stress of it all, you certainly wouldn't be falling in bloody love whilst it goes down, survival instinct would kick in.

The whole "women and children first" into the lifeboats would be an ideal place to test the fluidity of transgender rules, and if people REALLY think you can be a woman whenever you want just by saying so Laugh.

You want to try getting on the Northern Line at rush hour if you want to see ‘every man for himself’.

Part of me doesn't really believe the whole women and children first story

if it started of like that it wouldn't have lasted long, once the realisation the ship was sinking it'd have broken down real fast imo

In the movie the boiler staff tried to take over a lifeboat? that's what it would have been like for real after 20 minutes imo.

The figures show that it was women and children first and people behaved very bravely

1st class 1/3 of men , almost all women , and all children survived

2nd class 10% of men , 84% of women , and all children survived

steerage class 12 % of men , 55 % of women , 1/3 of children

Why would you not believe that?
People were probably a lot more honourable in those days, and of course it would be EXTREMELY easy to just look at the statistics of who survived to derive the truth of it, and guess what:

http://www.icyousee.org/titanic.html

Passengers:
Adult Female
Total: 412 Died: 108 Survived: 304 % Survived: 72%

Children
Total: 112 Died: 56 Survived: 56 % Survived: 50%

Adult Male
Total: 776 Died: 648 Survived: 128 % Survived: 16%

Further stats and detailed breakdown on the link.

Amazon or Google should make "lifedrones" that fly you back to shore in event of an accident :)

Actually .. give it 1-200 years. Might not be so far fetched.

This is going to be a huge project. The bow of the ship will need considerable redesigning and strengthening and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
