6 to 8 pipe bombs sent....

Suspected explosive devices have been sent to top Democrats including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, as well as CNN and former CIA Director John Brennan.

It comes two days after a pipe bomb was found at the home of liberal philanthropist and financier George Soros in the suburbs of New York City.


Additional suspicious packages addressed to Democratic Representative Maxine Waters and former Attorney General Eric Holder are currently being investigated by law enforcement.

One of the packages sent had listed Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, as the sender.

Poor old mr eboue only logged in to see if their were any conspiracy stories regarding the pipe bombs, ironically he is the first person to post one.

Hopefully the perpetrator(s) are apprehended quickly, but I won't hold my breath. Nothing would surprise me.

The wording of reports I've read suggest they were all decoy devices, designed to terrorise rather than cause physical harm. Anybody see anything to the contrary?

Looked like a joke to me, a tube with 2 wires with an isis sticker on it in a bubble wrap envelope . All very strange, no doubt someone will be arrested who fits the bill.

Love the photo of the bomb, a bomb explodes on opening but we have pictures with a lovely envelope and a pipe bomb with 2 wires.

I have some views that are left leaning and some  that are right leaning - though admittedly more left - why is that so hard to understand for some people? I honestly don't see how you can come down 100% left or right. It's just the hypocrisy aka that I don't like. If these devices had been sent to the Trump admin there would be some very vocal people on here saying lefty this lefty that - but as I said some of the usual suspects are very quiet on this matter.

Maybe they are waiting to see if the sender is caught before casting aspersions like you just did Hank. I repeat, the only ones who suggested Dems were behind the pipe bombs were you and Mr Eboue.

The rest of us might think it sensible to wait and see.

I wonder what the chances are of catching whoever is responsible? Is it a group or just one person? If the packages are all hoaxes with talcum powder and a few wires you would think it's almost an impossible task to track them down.

It's pretty dumb of whoever sent this bombs to not know that they have people who scan their mail before it ever reaches them far from where they live. Certain chit chatters have to be in the frame for this.

The package in the picture they released doesn't look like it went through the mail, the stamps weren't postmarked.

Investigators have found another wave of suspicious packages on Thursday targeting Robert De Niro and Joe Biden .....

Latest I heard was that they are all fake bombs and were not sent through the mail - the stamps were not postmarked and wrong amounts anyway. This means that we are looking at a group effort by many people delivering them by hand. All a bit amateurish, the FBI should be able to catch them soon enough.

It has crossed my mind that it is actually Anti Trump supporters who have sent these fake bombs rather than Pro Trump supporters, but who knows till they're caught. Unless of course it's members of the secret service themselves.

not matter what facts ever get presented there is a constituency who will just decide it doesn't fit with what they want to believe so they will
seek an alternative explanation, one they prefer.
