Willing to give them a go but those names alone make me want to switch off, Flintoff has always come across as quite odd and McGuinness's schtick is more suited to low brow tabloidy shows like take me out, though I thought the same thing about Steve Jones when he took over Forumla 1 coverage and he's been ok so you never know, shame Joey has gone he was quite good.

I know what you mean about Flintoff not really being convincing as a media personality. Maybe doing something he really enjoys will make him more comfortable and relaxed.

You think back to the end of his career in 2009, and how he somehow forced his broken body to lumber up to the wicket, unremittingly abuse Shane Watson, and bring home the Ashes, and there's got to be a genuine and popular personality there somewhere.

Flintoff was absolutely diabolical on his Big Bash and T20 Blast commentary stints.

Like an unfunny, overbearing hybrid parody of Bumble and Danny Morrison (2 joke cricket commentators)
