Where the hell do they get these excruciating singers, to decimate their anthem?

Also, as an aside, nice to see another new GP circuit, almost as good as our beautiful Silverstone....

When a car is retired like Ricciardo, can they not use a 3rd car for him to re-join from the back, would give fans value for money, or maybe it's that too expensive for team to have a 3rd car.

I', afraid it does not work like that: once a driver is out, that driver is out permanently and disqualified to compete future otherwise, that driver (if more competent) could jump into the remaining car of the team at the next pit-stop. But good idea though.

A major part of the event is finding a reliable race car and working within the parameters.
Why not allow a 4th or 5th car?
Them motors cost a few quid & most teams couldn't afford to have more cars. Allowing more would just
tip in further in favour of the very wealthy teams

Just ban the sport...from someone who used to be a fan. Or those who qualify with the fastest times will race in the most uncompetitive car, etc, to create a more even playing field.
