The Police have given up. 101 never gets answered and people are having to report crimes to a charity (crimestoppers) who then pass some of them on to the Police

SEX cases will be the High Profile nationwide Rape of young girls ,Must have been quite a few Banged up last year for that .
We have a Hundred murders already this year in London so that will deffo be a Factor .. Shocking Figures tbh . |

Had this debate a while back regarding London. There are approx 55 million people in England and 9 million of those in London. 100 murders in London; over 700 nationwide... again approx. Meaning London is safer than the rest of the country.
People keep going on about how bad London is. My question is... is it? |

Recorded crime up 9%. Considering that most people who ring 101 to report one give up after a long wait, the real numbers must be much much higher.

I find that strange saddo. I've called 101 twice; once to report an abandoned vehicle down our road and the other to report that roadworks traffic lights were only working one way, just as the rush hour was about to hit on a very busy road. It would have been chaos. Both were dealt with and both answered very quickly.
I don't doubt what you're saying but on the only two occasions I've used them I've had no issues getting through. |

The Met Police's figures showed there were 2,544 gun crime offences from April 2016 to April 2017 compared to 1,793 offences from 2015 until 2016. Knife crime also increased by 24% with 12,074 recorded offences from 2016 to 2017. They are probably worse this Year . 6500 Gun crimes 40000 knife crimes nationally 2017 |

I think the police fail to respond on purpose in order to continually make the point about the police cuts.

Another thing about the police, if they can't go into action without the full support of their chief and the courts what does that do to their moral?

multi cultural societies are always more violent societies
