Yes mate, I did go to The Den that Saturday, my first ever visit and I actually really enjoyed myself even though it was absolutely torrential rain all afternoon and we all got totally drenched! I went with my Sister in laws Sister who is a Millwall nut and has been a season ticket holder for donkeys years and I met a few of her fellow Millwall mates who were all great company.

It was quite mad at London Bridge before the game, Villa, Coventry and Wolves were all playing in London and the pubs at Borough Market and around the station were absolutely heaving but it was all good natured banter and no aggro whatsoever. We all backed Millwall and after your lot scored early doors we thought we had done our dough but fair play, Millwall played really well in the second half and were by far the better team overall I thought and deserved the 3 points. Villa played OK in fits and starts and of course you'll be safe and will finish mid table or slightly better but I really can't see you getting in the play offs this season I'm afraid to say let alone automatic promotion. That really pains me to say that as I have got quite a few Villa mates and want them to play us at Selhurst but being realistic I can't see that anytime soon unfortunately Sad

Not been the same since the legendary full back, and chit chatter, Harry Cripps retired.

Well remembered kenny, our man on here harry cripps was a Millwall man, he was a bookie on the cheapside at Romford and had a pitch at Catford as well back in the day, late 70's early 80's, Tony Bryley was his name. I hope he is OK. I haven't been to the dogs for ages, no tracks in London now Sad

I spoke to him on the phone, Slippy, maybe 7 years ago. Something to with football programmes. I think I'd suggested I wanted to dispose of the 100s I had. Tremendous character, every other word was a swear word but he was very funny. At least I'm pretty sure it was him, it was a mate of Glimmers.
