Caught up with the first show in a new series.
They had the genius Bob Mortimer as one of the guests. Combined with Mack and Mitchell, it was hilarious. (You might has well have forgotten about the other guests Lucy Porter, Dion Dublin and Debbie McGee - but they have to fill their quotas, I suppose).
12 series and in and still going strong.

Bob's whose friend am I bit is generally the tv comedy highlight of the year.

No - that was last series, but I reckon it was true.
I agree, with the OP; Mortimer, Mack and Mitchell were side splittingly funny - I actually made the wife watch it after I'd seen it. The egg in the bath with Chris Rhea was the highlight and one of the funniest things I've seen in ages, genuinely laughing out loud. It's nice too to be able to watch a comedy with the kids; they love it, especially Lee Mack.
I particularly enjoy the chemistry between Mitchell and Mack. Very different backgrounds, but they appear to have a genuine friendship.
Think my favourite Bob appearance was the one with the sick owl he looked after. Strange how Bob is the best guest by miles they have on it and Vic Reeves is amongst the worst players the couple of times hes been on.
if you watch the youtube clips of just Bob's stories it's insanely funny and also a bit insane how many he claims are true.

I was never really into Reeves and Mortimer. Only really got into Bob in recent TV appearances and the Athletico Mince podcast.
Who is tempted to crack an egg into a bath and see what happens? :)

I know that women have been known to use mayonnaise as a hair conditioner / tonic so it's not so strange. It's filled with egg.

One of my favourite programmes of all time i watch the old series over and over again fantastic lee mack and david mitchell and bob mortimer best story teller ever,it's up there with partridge...
