If this is allowed to continue 'real' women will become disillusioned with competitive sport and we will be left with just 2 categories :- male and transgender female . Women will be forced out of competitive sport altogether at this rate !

It has been argued that drug cheats should be banned for life because of 'muscle memory' as a result of steroid use etc.
Surely a transgender female has similar advantages 'gender memory' because his/her body spent many years developing as a male . Simply by removing testosterone doesn't remove the benefits of its presence in body development .

If you take a man or woman of equal sporting ability on average, the man will be stronger, have more stamina be more durable and have more aggression, this gives them a big advantage in sport, which includes cycling.

Women have to bear children.

Equestrian men and women are reasonably equal because the HORSE does most of the work.

Because we have made the world easier with our science women can do more than they ever did before and
have been liberated from ever lasting childbirth as most children survive to adulthood, something they did not in the past.

Apart from a few cases with both genetalia, the parents have to decide if they raise them as boy or girl and operations etc. Fair enough if in later life they decide they are the opposite sex then ok fair enough.

I understand that archery is a sport where it makes no difference as to whether the participant is male, female or even seated in a wheelchair.

maybe testosterone  linked  ... men generally  will always strive to achieve and get better at just about everything if they are able to,  whereas women generally  aren't as bothered or couldn't care less  (hence the reason women don't engage in sports as much as men )  although times are changing  and that could be due to decreasing testosterone in males

can imagine female athletes having a breakaway group if this continues. can you blame them ?

I would guess the number of male chess players far outweighs the number of female chess players which might have something to do with it, the best chess players from the largest group (male) will obviously outperform the best performers from the smaller group (female).
If there were an equal amount of male to female players playing chess the lack of females in the top 100 would then be worth mentioning. But it's really predominantly a male pasttime.

I think that you will find that women compete on equal terms in the sport of HORSERACING and they do particularly well and more than hold there own. In fact, it could be argued that the best NH jockey riding just now is Rachel Blackmore.

I think sport was originally meant for men to allow them to release their violence in a controlled, peaceable way.

Now it is entertainment as well, but it serves a useful purpose for men, instead of having wars we compete at sport..
