On these daytime shows like Money For Nothing or Flog It or Pointless they always rudely ask the people what they are going to do with the money. Men promise to give it to their local hospice or cancer research etc. Women say a handbag or shoes or some other selfish crap.

I'm less charitable than most.

I never give to collections, charities, food banks, tramps, the homeless, the blind, the RSPCA, sponsored walks, you name I don't give to it.

Never have and never will. Debt is a curse. Stand on your own two feet I say.

As for the poor - are there no prisons, are there no workhouses?

Women are miles more charitable  ...sorry about that answer  ,but it's true ...  they tend to give more to charities re direct debit  and i happen to notice also are more generous when putting money in the charity box at the pub weekends ...   theyre also more likely to take part in more demonstrations /protests that don't involve their personal well being  ...when men protest it's normally about working conditions/ salaries etc .

....women are (generally) more empathic towards those is an unfortunate situation.
Report bongo October 15, 2018 7:12 PM BST
Women more likely to play the lottery or Euromillions when the top prize is a gazillion quid. Men more likely to play the local raffle at the football match where the top prize might be £500.
Even when it comes to sexual attraction, a woman is unlikely to give an ugly poor bloke a chance, where a man will at least give an ugly woman some consideration.
At all levels men are less greedy / more charitable.

Not too sure , when my son used to deliver takeaway he reckoned 90% of his tips came from men.on a slightly different note I’ve noticed that women rarely let cars out on to the main road from a side street in stationery traffic, but that could be because more women tend to be blinkered when driving

Ask any woman what qualities she looks for in a man and the first thing she'll say is a sense of humour. Looks and money come way down the list. Plain

In my experience I've always found blokes to be far more generous and charitable. Gamblers invariably have a very compassionate, considerate side and probably about a third of all blokes I know are punters.

See what they go out with or marry, not what they say they look for.

Run the question backwards:
The opposite of charity is government coercion.
Which gender predominates in public sector jobs, local government etc. Which gender makes the most calls on NHS services, and collects the most free prescriptions? Which gender benefits the most from welfare and the State Pension? Which gender is in the majority at government funded universities? ( yes I know there's student loan funding, but the stats suggest half will never be repaid ). All well capable of being funded voluntarily but not. You get the point.

attractive women will marry for money that is  true  but then it's in their DNA  ,security must be top priority ..an attractive woman doesn;t want a life of drudgery (why would anyone want that voluntarily) ...and bongo , attractive women DO go out with 'ugly' men all the time . Less attractive women don't have the same choice or scope and often have to settle for what's on the open road .

I used to be a pizza delivery guy and say tips were far and few between from anyone except those on the council estates weirdly enough tipped the best .

I think women tend to be charitable to those that can't help themselves  ...ie homeless, disabled and animals ...not the average man (who it's considered should stand on His Own Two Feet

Men are more def considerate when driving letting folk out that much is very true ...  but then that is part of my argument

As i heard at a young age when young women are together you always get
a nice one and a tug.The nice one knows she has no competion and the tug
hopes to get what drops off.(although you can apply this the other way round these days
to a degree).

My wife is much more charitable than me when it comes to giving donations (I made the stupid mistake of treating my money as our money at the start of our marrriage, but she'd do it if it was hers) or offering her time to help someone.

I'm more charitable when it comes to judging people (I guess you might call that bitching or moaning about people).

You might say she expects people to come up to her standards and I set the standards bar pretty low Laugh

A well known lie, explained simply by their love of virtue signalling.

My old gran used to say, "Always give some money to homeless people and beggars, for they may be Jesus in disguise".
