Off Air due to treatment of Cancer of the Tongue and Lymph Nodes, caught very early so hopefully full recovery . His afternoon show of Mark and Lard was brilliant and hes a top guy . Get well soon Mark were rooting for you .

Wish him well as horrible disease. Definitely not a great man. I remember when he was putting away my then gfs close friend. Was married with kids etc at the time.

Listened to him since his days on Piccadilly Radio  , Out On Blue Six on Radio 5(before it was all talk station), quality DJ.

Been my favourite for getting on 30 years now too.

Out on Blue Six was on Radio 1, not 5.
