A great moment.
I was so fortunate to have so many good teachers at both my primary and secondary schools. Nice to reminisce about the good old days when I catch up with my school pals. |

To see a man cry is very moving, I cried too.
A long, long time ago I had to tell a really nice guy that it was over between us. He did not say anything but then a single tear ran down his face. I have never forgotten that and I still feel bad about it ![]() |

That's a really lovely, moving clip of Ian Wright, you can feel the passion he showed just how much that man meant to him.
![]() Ian Wright is a local lad made good, he was playing non league football for Dulwich Hamlet and a Palace scout recommended him to the then manager Steve Coppell and he was signed up straight away and had a brilliant career at Crystal Palace and then Arsenal and played for England many times as well of course, top man and a local legend ![]() |

Indeed slippy - not a palace fan but was lucky enough to see him and Bright a few times for palace. I was born where Wright and Rocastle are from - quite a few big names from that little area.
