Vital to keep our green spaces just so we can get away from our phones and computers and actually talk with other humans, the local councils say they have no money to spend on parks, play areas etc, bullsh1t!How much to they rob us with charging for bin to be collected one a week(if yer lucky) car parking, filthy traffic wardens stealing from us and on and on, they aint skint its b0llocks. Weird paper the Mail but this time they have got it right "SAVE OUR PARKS"

Councils always seem to have plenty of money for diversity issues but have to cut back on other things.

i got roped in a few months ago to giving half a day once a month
to help maintain our public space that was given to "us" by the council
20 years ago or so.

use it or lose it i suppose, dont want the place going to wreck and ruin,
as it will impact on us all..

local issues local elections , we get councillors and rivals coming along
and picking litter, and clearing rubbish thats been fly tipped

good to see folk can be bothered to make an issue of local stuff, and also
take it up to a national scale.

There was a nice little park in Dewsbury. The council donated it to Islam, the Saudis built a very large Mosque on it and put their  hate preachers in.

It is public health that we need to care about.  Anything coming in from outside will cause problems.  It is well known.
