Just got back from the Old Bailey. Case adjourned till Oct 23rd I believe.
Great turnout. 4-500. (Don't believe reports of less). Chaotic scenes as he left the court and walked surrounded by Plod, his minders and the crowd. Wonderful atmosphere and great publicity as passers by, city workers stopped, stared and filmed. Office workers gazing out of windows, people on balconies, open top buses. Even people in the upper rooms of the OB were watching and one or two even cracked a smile. Road jammed. Must have been 10 buses empty at a standstill. The passengers decided to walk. Plod aimlesslesly doing nothing. One told me they were afraid to tell Tommy to get a cab. Spoke briefly to Tommy and shook his hand. He's overwhelmed by the support. He told the crowd that 300 journos published everything he did about THAT case. No wonder the Judge adjourned the hearing.. |

Good man Injera..thanks for the man on the ground report. No doubt the media will either ignore it or call him a right wing thug as per.

The Mail, like mainstream comedians, seem intent on losing half their customer base lately, very odd.

Since Greig became editor there's been a significant change.

I know, but someone put him in the job knowing his politics would alienate many readers. Are they hoping to cure em of disliking the EU?

Cheers twizzle. I'm very glad I went. Met some lovely people. All ages, male and female.
The media always call him 'former leader of the EDL' instead of 'Journalist who challenges Islam'. Control the language and you control the debate. Thankfully, there's more and more of us who see the lies and know the truth. I have no issue with him founding the EDL anyway. That got him much needed publicity. He did the Paxman interview in 2011 when he highlighted the grooming gangs and was duly ignored. Worth a watch. It was clear then that the media and Govt prefered to target 'right wingers' than defend girls from years of abuse. |

Cheers twizzle. I'm very glad I went. Met some lovely people. All ages, male and female. Sound like yer typical far right extremists ![]() |

We've, incredibly, hit a time when the know betters' are calling the normal majority right wing extremists, good luck with that.

saddo - The media have been labelling anybody who voices concerns over specific issues as 'far right' . You not noticed yet ?

I liked the Icelandic football supporters at the last Europeans when they did their Viking war chant and the sea of beautiful blonde people
That’s what I mean , lovely things like that I suppose |

This thread sums up so much about what's left of the forum.
(Even saying that will make me a rabid leftie - I'm not, but - no doubt lfc will go 1st - knock yourselves out). |

So were are in a chit chat forum where the audience dont really want to go onto the politics forum makes this fred wrong ?
chit chat has always been made up of chit chat and news. |
|
By:
No, It used to be.
It is now, as can be evidenced in lots of threads, populated by supporters of right wing ideology and little else. Every thread like this has the same users all over it. Chit-chat WAS made up of chit chat, news, humour, questions, help, fun, quizzes, arguments, interesting stories, hardly any politics, and about 10-20 times more users than now. Now it's stuff like this thread. |
|
By:
Dwindling numbers have led to what is current, we may not like it. But betfair decided that by bans.
I accept that maybe more posters ratio wise is different from the past, times have changed. but that is to do with the transfer of politics into news, by the brexit, the don and the libtard gold standard. I had a good story. see you didnt reply. ![]() |

but that is to do with the transfer of politics into news, by the brexit, the don and the libtard gold standard.
I can go weeks out in the real world - working with the public too - without ever hearing anything about any of those. Cheap, easy journalism being copied onto this forum isn't essential. All that's happened is that the users of the politics forum got bored with the lack of attention, so migrated onto chit chat (ironic given the usual stance on immigration). No doubt some of the people all over these threads have an agenda. As on every forum in the world. For many it's an attempt to garner support. As for bans. The constant reporting of users by these same people is what caused loads of them. All of which is really secondary. The MAIN thing is that it is the real reason the forum is now a shell of what it was. Well done on having a good story (although I don't recall seeing it). |

too many votes to lose over this issue - what slime are our representatives are
do they realise, eventually, they will be voted out by 'majority' it only takes 20,000 per constituency 300 constituencies should just about do it |
|
By:
But who do we vote for?......this is a conservative government that has treated a man like this.....a man who has the extreme courage to tell it just as it is......and has the conviction to keep doing so despite everything that the government has thrown at him. If one bothers to listen to him speak in interviews....the Hopkins one I just watched......he is more educated, articulate and rational than most on this particular issue(and lest not forget, has grown up in an area where the problem has been allowed to evolve)......not the thug etc that some prefer to ignorantly label him as in order to deflect away from the truth he is telling. There is a very good reason why politics is discussed on a chit chat forum nowadays rather than the politics forum, compared to 10 years ago......it is because things have changed big-time, and it is on a lot of peoples minds daily who can see the wood for the trees, and who are concerned in a big way about what this country has become over the last 10 years or so, and it's future. Problem is that the damage has already been done and there is a feeling of despondency and powerlessness to change it among a lot of the population.Hence we had the Brexit vote, that was the only way that people could feel that their voice was heard, without being vilified for their feelings and beliefs. The big question that troubles me is "How and why did we arrive at the situation we are in now in this country"?!!!....a situation that I see only getting worse......wtf :(

German people are not happy but you read that in the media. |

I fail to see how that has improved my post......proof reading would help...."then then England" for example......and "German people are not happy but you read that in the media."??.......thanks anyway for your efforts :)

Oh got ya.......the spaces......cheers
![]() |

BTW....the German people are far too worried worrying about their guilt, despite the fact that those living had nothing to do with it, and they are currently paying the price for that guilt, and therefore an uprising is way off the cards imo......
|
|
By:
1. The Germans first
2. Hungary next.. then the Swedes. Then the Brits. Then the politicians will all blame each other. |
|
By:
They will blame everybody except those that are actually responsible

Farage has said he should not be allowed to join UKIP.
The man who stood in front of the breaking point picture to highlight the issue is saying this. If the man who campaigned to take our country back does not think radical Islam and the grooming of our child should be a political issue who on earth will? One day the middle classes will march with Tommy and then it will be game over for the establishment. |
