Senior police officer facing action ater using the phrase "whiter than white"

Everyone should be treated equally irrespective of whether they are black, yellow, brown or normal !

There are words and phrases which are in common use that do have racist coonotations (not "whiter than white") but who would know?

Eg "uppity", "sold down the river", "long time no see".


I recall once about to use the phrase "call a spade a spade" which does not have its roots in racism but bit my tongue in case someone took it the wrong way.

In the present situation where PC is absolutely vital and had become far more important than doing ones job, there is no excuse for using that kind of language. 
He knows the rules and he crossed the line.
He's obviously not up to the job.

I'd replace him with someone who can use the correct language and start them on half his salary, preferably a woman, because all police are a waste of money now.

We should consider cutting the wages of all police since they've become ineffective.

Apparently this phrase came into use because Persil used it to say that persil would make your sheets "Whiter than white".

English language , English humour , English phrases are all part of our culture , a culture which we are no longer allowed to express publicly or even privately , for fear of not only censure but also fear of prosecution .
This report is yet another example of how ludicrous this whole PC thing has become . How the fk did we allow this sh!t to happen to us ?

English language phrase,perfectly acceptable but I know certain people in public sector,police and NCS are prone to make complaints to jeopardise other candidates for senior posts to gain an advantage. If the latter,I do hope the media contempt will backfire on scum like that.

I think political correctness is a part of communism, to make everything uniform and take away peoples' individuality.

They would like it that we're like automatons. Think the same, act the same, dress the same, and just work as slaves to the system for the sole benefit of the highest echelons of society.
