Did you see the one the other day with the police asking for people to report to them not that people had commited any crimes, but to complain merely if they'd been (quotes deliberate) "mildly offended". I'd have though that was encouraging wasting police time when they are already saying they are hugely underesourced and can't even deal with REAL crimes.
