French authorities should be ashamed

It must be a place frequented by misunderstood promising footballers in france, they often shout when accidentally (trying to) kill people.

The lorries we see them boarding have very little security in the way of locks. They seem to open at the request of anyone who wants to get in, whether it's to steal from them, or stow away. I always thought the security of the lorry was the responsibility of the driver?. Unless.....

It is interesting to observe that people only complain about what they are shown or what they know.

First things first, look at how everyone is complaining about these guys trying to enter Britain. What should be more shocking though is how they are in France. I am assuming people have already gotten used to that. Now everyone is just concerned about their own country, which is fair.

If there were refugees leaving Britain, irrespective of their method of leaving, would you want the authorities to clamp down on them and stop them from leaving? I would assume the answer is NO. So why expect the french authorities to stop people from leaving France and entering Britain? If the French catch them, they have to take care of them even if they intend to deport them. If they let them leave, its not their problem. That's how it works.

The reality is that you can pay a ferry driver 20 pounds to take you from England to France. The return trip is preferred through trucks for some reason, but is also easy to execute. I am guessing some driver refused to take people along, or these guys refused to pay, which is why they were running after the trucks.

Why is nobody here concerned about the UK authorities that can as easily check these trucks upon arrival? That is where the whole criminal nature of the refugee crisis lies. You've just been shown a video of people running after trucks. You are busy bashing the French as well as the refugees, and conveniently forgetting that your own authorities are turning a blind eye to this when these trucks enter Britain. And that my friends is how the politicians keep you all busy.

Am I wrong here? Some guys jump into trucks in France to come to UK and the media tells you to blame them instead of the UK authorities who can easily stop them from entering.

Its easy to tell the public what to complain about moisok. That's what the media is for.

You don't seem to understand the geography, detraveller. The French could throw em back over whichever border they invaded through. We, unfortunately, are not allowed to throw em back in the Chanel.

"the media made you blame the africans and the french through a simple video" That is absolutely incorrect, Trav.  Indeed, one would need to be a simpleton to believe that only because of "a simple video".  That video is one of thousands, if not millions.

The (people at the top of the) French authorities should be ashamed but, sadly, that is not part of the masterplan, as most of us - yourself included - are well aware.  See my Swedish post last night on the Bono fred.

As an aside, can you imagine how dreadful the hold-ups would be if every truck entering the UK was stopped and searched for even one single minute?  I'm not sure of the total points of entry, nor how many channels / lanes are in each, but such an idea would be physically impossible.
