Franklin County, OH — As TFTP reported at the beginning of the year, in juvenile court, a 16-year-old boy intervened after a police officer allegedly pushed his mother against the wall—so the police officer shot and killed him. Now, it’s just been announced that the officer who killed the unarmed boy was justified in doing so.
Whoever was in the right or wrong here, the message must be that you don't mess around with armed police. |

Yes but its an unarmed 16year old trying to project his mum from a thug, after he shot the kid did he call for a doctor or medics? no he called for back up,dont give a sh1t do they

What Terry seems to be (predictably) omitting is the full story is that policeman was being attacked by a group of people and was himself admitted to hospital..

Oddly enough I cannot see what you say is true from the article ive read again, its only says the cop pused the mother against the wall and the boy put his arms around the cop,the cop then flipped the boy to the ground and shot him,if you are right fair enough but its not the info im getting

What's the stat - U.S Police kill about 1000 people a year on average? Mind you half of those were white in 2017 and they are leading the race this year as well.

The frequency with which the US police shoot people for pretty much f/k all is frightening.
I've been there before on holday but it puts you off the idea of living there. With technology now there are so many videos now where the police are clearly in the wrong but get let off with it. That one of a year ago or whatever where the lunatic policeman is shouting at a drunk unarmed frightened man in the hotel then shoots him - that policeman should be in the electric chair. |

Pretty simple really. We have to support the police, because they're all we've got between us and the thugs. This constant restricting the police and no fear of prison for offending is what has led to the lawless society we now have in the UK. If they're working outside of the law and get shot - too bad. |

This armed police issue.
With the UK police becoming increasingly less effective, just how are the people in charge supposed to reverse the trend? It's okay to keep producing figures and twisting them to mean something that they don't, but how are we to stop people from continually offending when they fear nothing? I can only get worse until all the police end up carrying firearms. |

And what gets me about the US cops is often when they shoot people they don't even do CPR or first aid, they'll CUFF the person dying, then stand around waiting as they die in front of them. They don't give a sh1t.

I think you are blaming the cop rather than the system JC. That cop was following procedures. If you read the story I highlighted where an ex marine was sacked for not killing a suicidal man whom his army training convinced him he was not a threat, you will have a better understanding of why there are so many cop killers
