you can often get other gold coins at cheaper rates than sovreigns, but you may not find it as easy to sell them.

Scrap value? Did you mean spot price?Scrap is what the buyer offers you and is massively below spot.Spot is the current market price and the seller always adds a few £££ on (or takes a few off when buying back).Bairds of London are top of the pop
got mine off of bullion by post but wanted specific year which they had!!
I buy scrap gold and silver and make my own bars out of them.
