I have an idea.
Propose a plan to deduct a few grade points from the high and middle achieving students and distribute them amongst those who are not as clever or prepared to work as hard. Some might get a second class degree instead of a first but it would be a small price to pay to help a few failures get a pass.
Teach the young an important life lesson IMO.

About time we reviewed the performance of lecturers at uni and removed a few of the lazy,incompetent ones.
